our new proposal
what do you guys think?
we are not going to be in class on friday to present our refined proposal of our project.
we have chosen to do a large quilted container system. the quilt is designed to blend into peoples daily need within their homes. The purpose of having it be a quilt is that i can be placed in several places and things in the house look more beautiful.
The different compartments will be made out of the triangular shapes traditional quilts are made of. The size and placement of the opening will be different thought the pouches as well as the design of the foldable inserts

I like the idea of the little pouches that are detachable! i think thats a really interesting part of the quilt that can be really customizable- what kinds of things do you think/want people to put in them/use them for?
If all the parts are detachable, are there different ways you can attach the parts to create something else besides the quilt?
could u remind me what your design code was again? and yes, what would pple put in the pouches?
i like the handmade idea though, its very YOU GUYS.
I agree, I think the detachable part is awesome. This would allow very creative and different ways to attach and detach..what would they hold? And could they be more than just "pockets" and perhaps be more a part of a quilt, then?
For example, instead of just having detachable pockets, maybe there could be a whole section that is more than just being a pocket...I'll have to tell you in person, as I don't seem to be explaining it very well here...
our code is -simple but complex
- containing and separating - taking time in their craft - saving energy - balance in life
We didnt want to put a limit on what can go in the pouches but we did have some ideas of what we think people would put. It also depends on were they keep it. In an office Important papers,In a children s room maybe babys toys, craft or art supplies, kitchen needs. etc. Alot of different things can be kept in it, depending on which pocket. some will be really small some will be rather large.
