The quilt is looking good, and I'm glad to see it really together and being used the way you imagined it. Has that given you any unexpected insights? And also have you figured out the whole hanging system yet? I imagine the whole thing has gotten a bit heavy.

The quilt looks so great, I really love it. My only question is how easily is it integrated from one scenario to another? If it is hanging and the pockets are filled would one have to remove everything in the pockets to use it as a sleeping bag? Perhaps you could design the detachable pockets to hold heavy or sharp things so that the user could simply remove them and not have to worry about where to put those objects.

yeah, the quilt has gotten much heavier, we are working on a tote bag that holds the whole quilt. many of the pockets that detach would be designed to hold the harder/heavier things. there is a pocket that doesn't detach that is padded like a pillow to keep objects like glasses or your cell phone safe. we have decided to make the entire quilt customizable and made to fit the customer's lifestyle better, we will have a catalogue that shows all the options of pockets (detachable/permanent)

Wow, it's starting to look like a real quilt! I think the hanging mechanism is the next step--did you get in touch with Luana at facilities to set up a meeting?

in terms of using the quilt as a quilt....how comfy is it to just put about you and use as a sleeping bag?...should this still be a function or has it evolved into something else?

Its nice to see it out of the illustration and in life. I agree with Denise that the hanging mechanism is key next!

i like how your quilts coming together. The different fabrics finally seem to go together and make sense rather than looking random found fabrics. If you were to use it as a purse/bag, is there going to be some sort of handle attached in the back? or is it going to be more of a clutch?
